I doubt it was a real Z/28. It appears to be just another customized Camaro with Z/28 badges.
A new hood, engine, paint job, and detailing and it should be fine. |

#22, More than anything it was a real Z28. I mean who would spend 3 years of their lives restoring a regular Camaro and then just stick on Z28 badges. Thus, it is the real deal. |

#23, A lot of people would and do. I saw a show-quality custom Camaro in Car Craft a few months back that wasn't a Z/28, was 2 years in the making and costed about $40,000 total, and it had Z/28 badges on it. Some people just think they look good.
Who would put custom wheels and paint on a real '69 Z/28, and who would spend so much time on a real Z/28 and not duplicate the factory striping? |
