Beetle will win any drag race, but only the tractor can make enough torque to get that beetle out of deep snow/mud :)

Ever hear about the farmer who owned a '67 Corvette Stingray with a 427 and, from what I heard, auto transmission and air conditioning, who used the car for daily transportation around his farm? Guy was selling it years later (he was the original owner) with relatively low mileage, and told the dealer, "I only want $38,000 for it," on the basis that it had served him well and was an old car. The dealer promptly sold the car for $74k, gave the farmer his $38k, and kept the rest.
