#4, I don't like anything he's redesigned recently. I don't even like the Z4, because I don't like that "crease" in the door, and the rear end of the car looks like some odd combination of a Miata and an S2000.

#6, Audi's for the most part are very clean, well executed designs. Mercedes' design was, in the past, the last word in german quality and solidness. Now, they seem to be trying to out Hyundai the Koreans. Have you noticed the DRASTIC drop in material quality from Benz? It is very, very sad.

Mecedes Benz's have worse reliablity than a Ford (top 3 american dudes as a matter of fact), I'll still take one though ')

#10, Material quality, construction quality. I will admit very easily that reliability is another issue.

#9, I wonder how much of the drop in material quality you refer to is a result of the same business strategies that made them buy Chrysler.

#12, If you're referring to the C230, I actually kinda like those. Could stand a few changes in styling though.

#12, First, they gave up their smooth, powerful DOHC 4 valve motor range for a bunch of rattly, heavy, low hp per C.I. SOHC 3 valve motors, then they started dropping clean, quality design for cheap fussy low rent garbage fittings etc. The new Benz's are not the real thing.
