the r35, altima, maxima, 350z, g35's, pathfinder, murano and some others use the vq35de. which says "v6 3.5" in BIG LETTERS on the plastic engine cover. my altima (with vq35de) also says v6 on the rear badging

hell, i dont see why the xterra and frontier dont use that engine as well...why bother with an underpowered 3.3-V6 when you have a much better engine from the same class...and i bet a 3.5 frontier would kick the shit out of a 3.3 s/c one
