#14, And I just realized that I had already posted in this thread five years ago. >_< And more accurately, too....contrary to my newest addition, I've never been to Florida or the northern finger of Michigan, but apparently those got caught in the fill and I just didn't notice. #43, Places like San Francisco are actually really pretty if you go to the right places and don't have to fend off bums or gay-rights activists. My mom loves Golden Gate Park, but hates everything else about the city. Word to the wise: avoid the Tenderloin, the Mission and Bayview/Hunters Point, particularly at night. I've wanted to shoot a bunch of cars I found on Flickr that live in the latter areas but I'm not brave enough. As for the rest of the state, we have all the benefits of Florida with less rust and no hurricanes. And if you go to the right places at the right time of year, you can even see snow :P

#42, I actually came very near to visiting San Francisco last summer for a medical conference my wife would have attended. but, cash was short at the time and we didn't want to go there penny pinching. we'll do it up right later.

#42, I always figured CA would be a decent place to live if no one else lived there. At least the state I currently live in is rural enough that I don't have to look at the idiots every day.
