One of 71 1971 Hemi Challengers ever made, I wonder what the numbers for a convertible were.

Did the non-hemi models come with the shaker? Cause I have seen two Challengers with that hood driving around.

Shakers were optional on all Challenger R/Ts and all 'Cudas but the Hemi. Hemi 'Cudas came standard with the Shaker, but for some reason Hemi Challengers didn't.

From what I understand, 2,165 '71 Challenger convertibles were built, but none of them were R/Ts. Dodge advertised a 1971 Challenger R/T convertible in their dealer brochures, but didn't actually sell any of them. That means there is no such thing as a '71 Hemi Challenger convertible, making this one undoubtedly a clone.
