Description:
This is my 1994 Mazda MX6 LS. 2.5 V6, intake, exhaust, plugs and wires, 17" wheels w/Z-Rated tires, JSpec emblems, full custom interior (seats, fiberglassed interior, 2 12" subs with a 1000 watt amp, new speakers all around, Pioneer head unit). I know it'll probably be voted "rice" because it's a Mazda, but take into account the exterior is stock except the wheels and emblems (not Type-R).

Very nice.
ONE THING you should know about this site, we are NOT anti-import (hell, click on my screen name to see the car in my profile) We are anti-stupidity, specifically, the stupidity of putting useless exterior modifications on cars, whether they be Hondas, Mustangs, or even Lambos (yes, there are a few riced out Lamborghinis posted elsewhere on this site that make me want to puke)...
Your car is very nice on the outside...not sure I approve of the JDM emblems, but I've always kinda liked the MX6s. (Another member of Rice or Not, stang392 actually has an MX6 also, albeit, an older one) A friend of mine in high school had a '93 MX6, he loved it, it was a fun car. |

Yeah, I was just worried because I've seen some stock imports get labeled rice numerous times and I wasn't really sure why. But the only reason I changed the emblems is because nobody recognized my car when I was driving it anyway, so I figured I may as well just screw them up more. Plus my hood emblem was screwed up when I got the car. |

Yeah it's FWD. In about a month I'm putting in all new internals and a supercharger to get me to ~350 hp atw. |

sweet. i've been looking into getting one of those for a first car but i had the impression that they didn't have a particularly large market, but i wasn't sure. who makes the supercharger? |

#8, can the tranny, etc take that amount of hp? I see plenty of FWD cars with big hp numbers but really don't see any mention of beefing up the rest of the drive train... just curious. |

#9, Yeah, all the mechanicals are the same.
#10 The aftermarket sucked for a while, but I started a company called MX6 Performance to fix that. Turbonetics components. |

#13, I think the MX6/626/Probe came out of the same factory in Flint

#11, I'm going to have to rework all my tranny components and suspension/drivetrain to put the power to the ground.
#13, Not really built jointly ala DSM...Kinda but not really. When ford bought part of Mazda, they just decided to use the same platform and change the look. |

Yeah, the girl that owns that car is only 17...Her dad drives either an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, a Carerra GT, or a Murcielago...I hate them... |
