So I'm reading this week's newsweek, had a small review of the anniversary edition 'stang. 4.6L V-8, and only 260 horsepower? Are Ford engineers even trying anymore? At least it's only 26K |

#2, Well, the 2005s will have 300 hp. Only 315 ft lbs. of torque, though.
Of course, that's a decent peak torque number, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say they won't perform as well as the LS1 Z28s did.

#4, There actually having a muscle truck war but it didn't last long. Dodge won with the V-10 truck. Problem is when they have a muscle car/truck wars is they start to play too rough and become unaffordable anymore as Dodge will pull its V-10 trump card. Chevy used to do that with the Corvette engine. |
