Exactly. I can only imagine anyone ever using that intake if they were trying to transplant a '99+ 3.8 into an '83ish Fox-body.

but think how oddly cool it would be to have a carb and scoop sticking out of the hood of a newer V6 Stang

#12, "Actually, power output is similar to a stock '99-04 GT at the moment, but I've got better gearing."

That was what I was talking about. Aren't they like 280hp stock?

I like EFI. I'm trying to learn more on how to tune it, but I love the fact that my gas mileage is still good. (I reset my trip meter when I last filled it up... gonna see exactly what I'm getting) I used a 1/4 of a tank from Atlanta to home... that's a 2 hour drive.

#23, 260, as stang said, which means most likely <220 at the rear wheels. Which is about the neighborhood I should currently be in, but I have 4.10 gearing (all '99-04 stock V6s and GTs have 3.27s).

edit: And I of course like EFI as well. I'm still getting 20+ mpg with the aforementioned gears, a big cam, and a less-than-ideal tune (which will obviously be fixed when the rest of the parts come in).

I figured it up from the dyno sheets you posted on celshade once, and I think you making something like 268 "real" horsepower.

#26, The chip has been played with a little since then (more timing advance after 3000 RPM in an effort to get more power) but that hasn't been tested on the dyno yet. We'll have to see how it works out when I'm finished; I want to be in the 230-240 rwhp range. Not huge power, but a solid gain over the 150-160 rwhp it had stock.
