"Cold Throw"- What ricers do when mom has an automatic and the kid revs it up to 4k in neutral, then engages into drive.

I'll admit to doing a couple of cold throws in my truck, but only for the purposes of burning out even more than normal. I've only done it like twice though.

i tried to do this in my stang but i couldn't...which now makes me happy. it just had a C-4 but it had some sort of "rev limiter"...it wouldn't go into drive unless the RPMs were low enough. Good ol' Ford.
