This just looks so... un-Mopar. Every time I see it, I think it looks like either a Bugatti or a Talbot Lago.

Those were the inspirations. All those Atlantic cars look the same, this is a modern reiteration of them. Very nice.

It was designed to look like a Bugatti Atlantic. (Hence the name of the concept.) Tommy Hilfiger owns a Bugatti Atlantic, and won the Coucours D'Elegance of Pebble Beach with it. He had already won before for another car.

I prsonally think this a an incredible concept. Flowing lines, purposerful fender arches, lower passenger area. The wheels mesh with the body - this car should be made!

I think that if it had been a concept from a limited-production manufacturer, it probably would have been. But I don't know how likely it was for Chrysler to break even on it.

Isn't this the one that had jewels and gold in the dashboard? Now that would never see production!

Anyone ever notice how in the 60's they went for the futuristic look, and in the 90's & 00's we are going for the retro look?

I think the 90's will be remembered as the "Retro" decade...
