#16, Undoing 4 bolts may be easy (if you have someone to help you: otherwise you might earn a dent on your skull): the hard part is aligning the hood properly when putting it on again.

#44, Apparently he didn't know it had a lift off hood. He thought it had a conventional hood that the owner removed and set on the roof.
