#2, They weigh about 1700lbs, compared to about 1800-1900lbs for regular Elises, and they also have better aerodynamics, hence the wing.

#3, American Elises why 1800-1900 Lbs, European homologated models way about 1500 for early 1st gen to about 1750 for a second-gen S model. The Exige weighs roughly the same, but has different gearing, stiffer suspension and a all-around harder attitude. Call it the hard core Elise.
