#19, Maybe not even so much. GM really has refined the art of building efficient cylinder heads, and bulletproofing the valvetrain to take advantage of that. I mean, the OHC LT5 was an impressive engine for its time, but the previous Z06 engine surpassed its power.

I can't imagine the types of beasts that will be unleashed by the aftermarket tuners.

#27, What do you think the people who race big-block drag cars do, run them up the 4,000 and upshift? :p

Looking at the heads (and judging by the 4.125" bore), that is some pretty tight bore spacing. I wonder how much heat is going to be an issue with this; there's not a lot of space for water jackets. It'll also be interesting to see if anyone supercharges or turbocharges these; there's not going to be a lot of head gasket separating the cylinders from each other (although they're using a pretty strong type of gasket).

#32, i'm kinda wondering myself how this would support any kind of forced induction...you would think the engine is pretty close to being maxed out

#33, if nobody cared, then they wouldn't make a big deal out of it...just "what" that is, beats me

#39, The content of your posts constantly makes it seem like you're totally oblivious to reality, and about half of them are outright flame-baiting. I don't think there's anything really worth discussing here; you've reached an apex of human stupidity that usually requires huffing glue.

End of discussion.
