#19, If the LS7 was DOHC - well - the cost of the Z06 would be about 8 thosand more - the block would be heavier and physically bigger - and it wouldn't fit under the hood.

I lumped the heads into the block itself - as the heads are useless with the block and thus - contribute to the overall block dimentions.
