#20, seriously? I've heard Cavvs are alright in snow, hell my freind had one and it was good in snow. Now, which model; base crap box, or a Z24? which bodystyle? '92-'94 or '95+

#23, we had a '88 Subaru DL wagon. AWD I think. Cracked the engine block first winter we had it.

#24, i don't think it matters if it's the base or a z24...but just for suckiness-wise, i would avoid the base one

#24, with that kind of money, you can get a rather good condition 2nd gen z24... or a basic, good condition 3rd gen jelly bean too.
