Not sure what this was, but someone on another forum mentioned that it's a GT40 replica made using an Avenger R/T.

If you block out of your mind that this is desperately trying to look like a GT40, and just take it for what it is, it doesn't look too bad.

The kit was called the Avenger, made by Fiberfab. There's no cheesy FWD Dodge under that body, it's either a rebodied Beetle/Karmann Ghia (GT-12) or a full custom frame (GT-15) capable of holding Corvair running gear or a mid-mounted V8 (Valkyrie). Apparently this kit is still being produced by the "new" Fiberfab as the Valkyrie.
