Didn't they just redesign the Maxima? Or am I thinking about the Altima?

#5, That's a quick redesign, and it might be an SE-R seeing as how the badges are covered.

#6, nissan has been quick with some cars. My altima's generation only went 3 years before a redesign. It could be covering the old Maxima 3.5S_

#7, Yeah, I guess if you've got the money to re-equip an entire line of cars in less than half a decade then why not? You're probably right, if it was an SE-R there would probably be a third black spot.
