I think these were the last good Sentras. They didn't pretend to be something they weren't.

#21, I'd say the B13s were the last "good" Sentras... every Sentra since then has desperately tried to look bigger and more upscale than it really is... When a compact car admits it's an economy car, all the R&D and component costs can go towards making it the damned best economy car it can be... when you bloat it up and add upscale aesthetics, the rest of the car suffers.

#20, I'd like to amend that prior statement. The '06 Sentra was a floppy mess that damn near killed me when I accidentally discovered it didn't have ABS. The only good thing about it was the amazing stereo system... (which kinda shows where the priorities were in engineering the damned thing)

My mother drives a current gen Sentra. It's well-built, smooth, quiet, and comfortable. But also overly-complicated. And I hate push-button starters. The battery died on her key fob recently and the car stranded her. :/
