Well the Caliber's GS platform is shared with the Mitsubishi Outlander, which is optioned with AWD and FWD, so it might be a safe assumption this is as well. Keyword: might

#22, Heh, well the platform says one thing, but it's predescessor says another. And since this thing is probably pushing near 300 tq, an FF design could be problematic and cause some XLOWSTHM! Or extreme lack of weight shifting to the max! |

You guys are kidding, right? But then again the Trailblazer SS wasn't that bad, I mean a 6.0 L LS2 V8 with 391 hp and 395 ft·lbf of torque is not bad for a midsize soccer mom mobile...

#28, I see oh grand exhalted master (whose voice is like Saraphim singing and whose flatulence is the perfume of the night). Is said Super Sport CUV beyond the concept phase? Or is it just a wet dream of Rick Wagoner?

Sounds like it's time for a revolution.
*passes out anti-Altima propaganda and loads up war gear* |

#32, I accepteth this honor my savior (whose BO is like the scent of the deepest flower in the African jungle)
But seriously, the original SUVs were designed to give upper-middle class suburbanite paper pushers the belief that they could travel across the roughest terrain in the darkest forests. I guess now they're trying to appeal to the wannabe leadfoot crowd.
#33 Gasp! A phillistine who dares to blaspheme the almight Altima (whose acne ridden face harbors mighty zits which explode with the force of Mt Vesuvius)

#36, The Caliber is actually designated a compact car, not much bigger than the last gen Neon. It's got a GEMA World (Dual VVT) engine in 1.8-2.4L sizes based on the SE to SXT versions of the car. I guess if it's anything it's a wagon hybrid like the PT Cruiser

#38, It's definitely in the same vein as the HHR, I think Dodge is leaving the compact sports market up to Chevy and Pontiac for right now. I mean, the price, size, utility, style is all reminiscent of Chevy's retro wagon. But last I checked the HHR wasn't selling worth a damn...

I'd say it looks meh, but Chrysler has gambled and won with some suprising models (i.e. Pacifica)
