#22, Negative camber gain under weight transfer tends to put all the strain on the inside edges of the rear tires, and if there is a lot of slop in the bushings, there will be some wheel hop. Doesn't mean that you can't launch a car with an IRS, though..

#26, From what I hear, some live axle setups are notorious for wheel hop... right?
