I like light little cars for their tossability... putting a big donk in it sorta defeats that :(

Just give me an easy-revving engine with enough power to make the light car zippy, and I'd be happy.

#3, I know exactly what you're saying though. Wasn't exactly clear on that. I'm not talking mid-mounting some monster-crate motor, but maybe more along the lines of a 'busa engine or maybe one from a GSXR-1000. Light, small, high-revving and plenty powerful some something nice and small.
