The movie's main character has to install a Nissan Skyline GT-R engine to transform his dad's Mustang into a drift machine overnight. But when the real drifting needed to be done, the Tokyo Drift stunt team relied on 430 ci of Windsor V-8.

It's a pretty common practice, one mustang got the nissan engine and the stunt cars all used V8s. |
