This is a 959/911 hybrid Paris Dakar test mule. Next year they ran a 959 with a 911 engine, and the year after that a "real" 595 was used.

edit: I'm not sure if the car on the pic is the test mule hybrid, it looks more like a 911 to me.

#4, There are a few differences between the two, but that could easily be explained by a handful of trim pieces here and there being replaced.
