An acquaintance of mine had one of these. It was beat to hell and he spent a lot of time and money on it, fixing rusted body panels and trying to restore it with a parts car.

Then one day he up and scrapped it for no apparent reason.

I remember my parents looking at a house to potentially buy when I was 5 or 6 years old, and the real estate lady drove a gold Dodge Dynasty. We rode along with her to the place, and I was really dorked out to get to ride in somebody else's car. Shit like that used to excite me, I guess.

If I'm offered a ride in a type of car of which I have no prior personal experience, yeah, I'm kinda interested in what it's like... how the interior is laid out, the styling used for the dashboard, the ride, the smells, how then engine and radio sound... I'm such a car nerd.

Oh sure, I'm still interested in riding in a type of car that's unfamiliar with me, just not excited.

#5, Doug DeMuro's videos have sated that desire to some extent.

#9, his videos have gotten more corporate and less Doug. He doesn't break down the score, doesn't sit in the back seat anymore, and he doesn't preview the cars upcoming in his intros anymore-- and he stole content from a couple friends of mine who now work at BaT.
