#20, lol no. But I've seen actual instances of GM truck fires, a few in U-Pull-It. I don't want to rant about GM, but the only source I have for the Vibe was an acquintance of ours who had floormat/gas problems in thier Vibe and ES330. The Pontiac dealer (before it closed) claimed that it was not their problem and that they would not fix it.
I'm just pissed at GM for making retarded decisions, and introducing stupid shit that no one wants. The price of the Volt is said to be "under $40,000", likely meaning it starts at $39,995. Quite a stupid move if you ask me. I think you know my opinions on Honda/Acura's downfall, as well as Toyotas. Same with Mitsubishi, but I am wondering if I was the only fan of Mitsubishi's semi-new stuff. I hate everything about the Eclipse, and Endeavor and Raider (is it even made anymore?), but I do still sort of like the Galant and Outlander. However, I'm not too happy to hear the next Evo is going to be a "real evolution from the brand".. :( |

I've seen a couple of burnt C/Ks before, but then again, given that the combined Chevy and GMC sales of those vehicles made it the best-selling vehicle in America for who-knows-how-long, it's only natural for a few to have caught fire at some point. Cars burn sometimes.
I'm something of a fan of GM at the moment, which is strange because I hated GM with a passion less than ten years ago. They seem to be doing most things right at the moment, if they can just get anybody to pay attention.
#21, "A real evolution of the brand" can only mean "it will turn into a bloated luxury car and lose the raw edge that made it popular in the first place." Sadly, it happens to most popular enthusiast cars at some point. Enthusiasts make them popular, then the automakers soften the cars up to appeal to the wider demographic of mainstream car buyers. Then some new bare-bones performance model gets popular, and the process starts all over again. |

#22, Yup..Like Subaru did with the WRX. and what Nissan did with the 300ZX and later the 350Z and 370Z :(
I think I'm gonna stick to older cars for my interests from now on. Nothing new excites me much anymore. |

#25, this is true. They did price it higher, though, but overall, yeah it's a better car. Now, if they could do something about the GT-R. |

#25, The 370Z is one of those rare exceptions to the rule. Hell, the 350Z was really an improvement over the 300ZX in terms of cutting weight and excess. Z cars just got steadily fatter from the time they were introduced until the second gen 300ZX came along. |
