#2, Those books really bother me... it's like, the "authors" (term used loosely) simply take second/third-hand information, with no corroboration, and simply aggregate and regurgitate information and BAM you have a bullshit automotive encyclopedia. No fact-checking, no proof-reading... tons of biased opinions leak into those works, as well.

#4, I can't count the number of times I've read books proclaiming the 1957 Chevrolet fuel-injected 283 was the first production engine to make one horsepower per cubic inch....when the 1956 Chrysler 300B was making 355 horsepower about of a 354 Hemi.

#4, Well it hasn't stopped youtube and instagram 'influencers' from dictating to the world what's hot and whats not. It should only be a small step from movie reviews to history revision - especially if it's a quick and heavily stylized mess. After all - the truest truth always comes from those with the most subscribers - and those who can best rewrite a press release.
