The Car of Tomorrow is a Piece of Shit. (Not my opinion, simply explaining post #1) This is a Nascar "Car of Tomorrow" racecar that will be phased in over the next few seasons... it'll be used in a small number races this year, and more next year, and more the year after that... it is a car with a blockier shape and more interior room for safety equipment, and will use a wing instead of a spoiler... To take advantage of this car being phased in, both Dodge and Chevy are using this situation to phase in new models for their racecars... Chevy will "race" the Impala as their COT model, since the Monte Carlo is pretty much dead in the water in the marketplace, and Dodge will use the Avenger for its COT model since the nose on the Charger just plain SUCKS aerodynamically. This is the first time I've seen the Avenger Nascar racer, so thank you for posting this, 427 :) [Edited by DiRF on 1-09-2007 @ 08:23:31 PM]

This proves that NASCAR is spiraling downward just like Detroit. Companies design and build garbage, then Toyota comes into the game and all hell breaks loose ... in both cases. That wing makes it look ricey >.<

#4, If Toyota succeeds this year in Nascar, that will be a bloody miracle... I don't care how good their Nascar racecar is, they've signed on with some really crappy teams, and only 2 of their 7 cars are guaranteed a starting spot for the first 5 races of the season... The other 5 Toyota teams are competing with over 10 other teams for only 8 spots in each of those first 5 races.
