That's one car I have never seen in person before, but would like to.

It's a stupid thing to talk about... but what do people prefer on wagons... pickup-like vertical taillights, or more horizontally-biased taillights that actually continue on onto the tailgate itself? I guess this question can cover minivans, too.

Myself, I prefer the vertical jobbies.

Vertical. Tails like these mean that half of the taillight is fake. And if they aren't fake, then there's all kinds of wiring and such running into the tailgate to power said lights.

#4, :( http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/lolinfiniti_(2).jpg my car has that. ...and the inboard lights and backup lights do indeed work.

#5, Vertical taillights would not fit the body shape too well.

#5, Changing a light bulb in the center section on my parents' Regal sucks. It's literally a two-person job and you have to remove 8 twist-clip things to pop the module off of the trunk lid, then have someone hold it while you change the bulb(s) so it doesn't scrape the paint.

#6, I used the frowny face because, whilst I like vertical taillights on wagons, I quite like the horizontal taillights on my sedan... even though they use the wires and stuff running into the decklid to power the lights.

#7, unclip the carpet on the underside of the decklid, pop open a panel, and voila, the bulbs are right there to be changed.

#8, Those type of lights work fine on sedans, just not wagons.

There is still the excessive wiring issue, though, and the bulb changing issue that Wimbles brought up.

I actually felt changing the regular taillight bulbs in the Crapi was much more difficult than changing the decklid bulbs on the Infiniti.

Unscrew the plastic cap, the whole tailight assembly is loose, unplug it, turn it around, slide a plastic thingy out, voila. Or you could just wham the taillight and see if it helps (it almost always does).

I espeicaly like when you have side marker lights that go bad, and the access for them is deep under the carpet in the fender well, which usualy hasn't been cleaned for a few congressional terms when you finaly need to get in there....
