A friend of mine bought a tan one of these with brown interior for $900, painted it flat black with white racing stripes and invested $200 in stereo equipment. Had a rust hole inside the quarter panel big enough for some small animal to live in (could only get into it through one wheel well). He let anyone kick the car who wanted to, and draw on it with chalk. Then he moved to Utah and crashed it. Crazy Russian.

I once mistook one of these with the lights up for a Pacer (it was night time) Boy was I dissapointed when an old Accord drove by.

I owned a white '86 LXi and another white '87 DX Accord like this... nice handling little hatchback which I could drive for 4-5 weeks before filling up... best part that it had an amazing amount of foot room. More than you would expect... I could stretch my legs all the way out which is no mean feat for 6'2"
