Police cars here are only factory tuned. Have more than 60hp they can't catch you, so they don't even try.

I manage to enjoy the Fast and Furious movies... all I have to do is shut my brain off and drool.

But, seriously, they are good popcorn-for-the-brain entertainment. Though, I must admit, I haven't seen anything past Tokyo Drift... I probably should.

#10, I have heard some mutterings about the 25-mile-long airport runway in one of the later movies...

#9, The first one ate.

The second one was incredibly silly, but entertaining.

The third one was pretty bad overall, but I'll give it credit for trying something different; plus Lucas Black doesn't get enough work.

The fourth one pretty much sucked overall.

The fifth one was actually surprisingly entertaining, particularly dragging the safe down the streets.

I have yet to see the sixth one, though I copied it from a friend's portable hard drive, so it's on my PC.

I freely admit that I've never watched a single movie of the series.

#9, I still haven't seen anything past Tokyo Drift.

However, my opinions on 2F2F and Tokyo Drift have flipped... rewatching clips from 2F2F, holy SHIT is that movie cringy as shit. Brian constantly doing his "tough walk" for no apparent reason in his ridiculously baggy clothes; nothing against the late Paul Walker, but I think he was very poorly written and directed in that film. His dialogue is horrendous. Tyrese is still pretty damn fun to watch, though.

But Tokyo Drift? I find myself greatly enjoying going back and watching clips from it. Lucas Black feels relatively "natural" compared to the leads in the prior films. I appreciate that the film shows him actually learning how to drift, and when they're building the Mustang, there's a lot of trial-and-error and legit tuning in those scenes. The final mountain race, despite being massively overblown in its presentation, is still very enjoyable.

#12, Amending that: 6 was VERY silly, but it did have some interesting cars in it.

7 was more or less the same as 6, to the point that I actually mix them up in my head.

I haven't seen 8-10.
