Deftones. Well-known, but underrated band.

God, I used to be a HUUUGE Deftones fan, I still got White Pony laying around somewhere. I also got a bootleg copy of their fourth LP. Chino Moreno is an incredible vocalist.

Yeah, hes surprisingly good. For some reason, I like their softer stuff a lot more than the rest. Theyve actually got enough talent to pull off acoustic sets. Then again, a lot of their songs lend themselves very well to acoustic versions.

#2, True, the acoustic mix of "Be Quiet and Drive" off of Around the Fur was awesome, really trippy and far out and I could tell it influenced their later work. I remember being blown away by Minverva back in 03, it was such a beautiful and simultaneously hard-hitting song.

The Deftones are in my top 3 favorite bands, along with Tool and In Flames. I've been a fan since 1997, a year before I saw them at my first Vans Warped Tour. I've got everything from them, except the B-Sides and rarities compilation, which I all got on my computer. My favorite album is defenitly Around The Fur, followed closely by White Pony.
