considering the newest Vemon does 9.99s with a high gear ratio of 3.08 and is under warranty it might be a good challange... |

Sweet car ugly kit, esp for veilside. Still rather have the viper. Unless you rip off the Shogun and put on the '99 Anniversary Fortune Model. |

.... like its not even close, not for 1 second. i mean on a serious note, this car would have needed a 1/4 mile head-start. as much as i would like to defend this car, i have seen it in action. its not all its cracked up to be. |

I would have to say.. get a nicer wing, and I would drive this car.. this is one rare time when the body kit fits the car and shows it's power.. and anything near 1000 horsepower needs to be praised.. look at computerwiz's car... it has a body kit, and we don't burn him for it.. Know why? He has the power to back it up. |

one Funny note about the F-1 everybody loves so much, in test the Porsche 911 GT2 pulls beter Gs on the skid pad than the F-1 and cost about 1/4 as much.... |

BTW, at the wheels means, the engine makes 320hp, but, there could be a problem.. causing it to only produce say 290 at the wheels.. |

when they say "at the wheel". I assume they mean at the flywheel. which is not factoring in all the horsepower lost to the other components of the car. so to me, saying it has 900hp "at the wheel" is just snazzing up what the real figure is. probably closer to 600-700. |

900 horse to the back tires? I seriously doubt it. Anyways It has an ugly body kit and a nasty wing. I still dont see why it is appealing to have the front of your vehicle look like a snow plow. |

I can tell most of you don't do much racing. Education time.
1) Of *course* HP is measured at the rear wheel on a RWD car. It could say 900 RWHP thats the same as saying 900 at the wheel, its a common term in racing.
2) Cars rated at 320HP do NOT put 320HP at the wheel, they put maybe 280-300 or so. You lose like 20-30% of your HP between the crank and the wheels. Again, fairly common to say if you do any racing.
3) 900 HP at the wheel, tells me the car is making like 1000HP+ or more and its actually getting 900HP to the rear wheels. (The Veilside Supra btw makes 1040HP at the crank so I'm guessing its getting close to 900 to the rear wheels, that sounds right to me.)
Whats so hard to understand about this?

Your a dumb-ass. What are you stupid? Of course we measure power by ther rear- wheel on a rwd car. Do you think we measure power by the front wheel?? WTF. |

Your first line says: "900 horse to the back tires?"
And you are calling ME a dumbass? Where the fuck else would it be going? Don't try and cover up because you said something stupid.
There are like 5 posts here with people saying "What does 900 hp at the wheel mean?"
That sounds pretty stupid to me as its a common term.
And to answer your last post, on a FWD car, yes you measure power at the front wheel ass. |

I doubted the fact that it made 900 horse at the back tires, not if that was how you measured it. If your werent such a dumb-ass you could see that. |
