Description:
I shot this today on my way home from work. What you can't see is an obliterated Ford Ranger glued head-on to the Explorer... it was a mess. I wish I had used my point-and-shoot camera for a better driving shot, oh well. |

actually, I should've lightened the image in pshop before posting. It was taken hastily without looking through the viewfinder (because I was driving and didn't want to join the unfortunate folks situation). The accident seemed really bad. |

i saw a beater (and likely uninsured driver due to area of town and stereotype) 90s silverado lose a wheel on a curvy onramp not too long ago. i assume either the wheel bearings had problems or it was the tie rods. first a trail of sparks, then slowing of traffic, then a wheel and tire rolling back down the highway.
it was hilarious.

#4, that reminds me of an aquantance that I had in High School who was driving behind me in our small town one day. I noticed something coming up the center line in my rear view and realized it was one of the wheels off of his VW! He was not mechanically inclined, so I helped him retreive it from the ditch and BOLT it back on the car... hilarious. |
