#1, As in most racing sims... for example I can run NFS: MW at pretty close to max graphisc detail, while a sim like GTR2 eats up so much processor power that even on lowest detail I can't get 24 FPS all the time. Besides what did you expect? Motion blur? Lens flare? Some weird color filter? This is about the real look not eye candy.

#2, So basically what I'm trying to say is you got things confused. This is a sim not an arcade racer. However, if your PC is powerful enough, modern sims (like GTR2) look prety damn good.
