i would like to take this opportunity to point out the ignorance of my ricer friend. he is the proud owner of a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire, built in March of 2000. if you would like to verify, here is his car's profile. http://www.j-body.org/members/socaljbodyracer/cars/1/ please also note the modifications that he has added that helped him "smoke a c5 corvette" with his 170 HP Sunfire. (he is in the picture on top, furthest to the left.) and future mods include a dual exhaust...on his inline 4 banger. go figure

He going to get racing seats by SPERCO?! Are they the cheap knockoffs of SPARCO racing seats?!

I'm referring to the Poniac in the website OldSchool posted.

i didn't know you could get "stage 2 weight reduction." i always thought you just pulled crap out of the car, oh well, i suppose i went about lightening my crx all wrong. and i think he mixed up spearco (as in intercoolers) and sparco.

Stage 2 weight reduction? Someone's been playing too much GT3.

And how do you blow an amp? Usually the amp blows the speakers... ugh. He uses pioneer anyways so he doesn't care about his sound.

If that Sunfire ever reved at me, I'd spit on it.

you could blow an amp if you wired the speakers wrong and got 1 ohm resistance, but that's about it.

This ricer buddy's new engine modifications sound pretty good to me... "broken engine mount", "engine fell out", "engine caught on fire". Think of the weight reduction there.

And his dream car is "R/T 10 Viper or Diablo VT Ferrari"
