#20, i try

don't get it twisted though, i'm as christian as they come, but christianity has went from doing what the bible says to making sure other people do what the bible says. it has come to the point that it has become a complete abomination of God's word. i stopped going to the church my family attends due to the constant hypocrisy i see. i had people ("christians") telling my mom how she needed to raise me and how bad of a child i was in high school. they even went as far as to calling my house and asking for specific reasons as to why i missed church on a given sunday.

if christians were as devout as they considered themselves to be, they would focus more on their own spirituality instead of mine.

My friend's (he says he's an atheist, technically, but not quite) favourite religious quote:
Imam: Because you do not believe in God does not mean God does not believe in - .
Riddick: Think someone could spend half their life in a slam with a horse bit in their mouth and not believe? Think he could start out in some liquor store trash bin with an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and not believe? Got it all wrong, holy man. I absolutely believe in God... And I absolutely hate the fucker.
