#83, I think he's referring to the exterior portion of the car. When hot rodders want to be "unique", they go the lead sled route and do the work themselves. The only actual bodywork ricers do is rework the metal to fit the headlights/taillights of a different kind of car. Even then, half the time they just trowel in a few cans of bondo.
