#5, No. You slide, you don't drift. Burning up tires, diff, and constantly bouncing off the rev limiter can be rather detrimental to actually finiching a 20km stage, not to mention winning it. As does not actually moving forward but instead weaving around the whole road.
Bear in mind, you don't have anything close to race track traction in rallying, these are normal, public roads, and usually the nastiest are chosen for the stages. So there's some 'preliminary' drifiting, it's safer to slide the car a bit instead of waiting for it to become suddenly unstuck by itself. For the same reasons, it's so fucking dangerous to go 100% without leaving any room for error in rallying.
