#19, Taco Bell/Pizza Hut/KFC are all owned by Pepsi, hence they only serve Pepsi

#24, Just preparing them for their bleak and hopeless future.

I wonder do the playsets include the overhead pressure hose that you have to spend 10 minutes of each dish getting it *perfectly* clean, or maybe a set of "write up" sheets if you don't? And if the kid wants to pretend he's working in a Wal*Mart Supercenter McDonald's (like me) then be sure to only give him about 3 feet of space to put 25 washable items and write him up again if any of them are placed on the floor on on top of any buns.

And let's not forget 10 different instructions for how to cook the meat "right", and write up sheets for using any one of the instructions. Or maybe the big grey bin with the squeaky wheel for hauling off the garbage to the compactor (complete with breaking trash bags!), and a "next week's schedule" calendar that always has you working on days and hours that you specifically specified that you can't work.

Needless to say, my experience at McDonald's wasn't a pleasant one.

I was lucky, I had 3 very cool managers when I did my time in the trenches of the Food Service industry as a teen, the 4th one was a jerk, but the other 3 conspired to fire his ass

#32, I liked all the people I worked with, I just couldn't stand the way the store was run. It was all red tape: It didn't matter that the reason I screwed up is because I was never trained, it's just that I screwed up and should be "punished".

#36, Hmmm...sorta the opposite with me...yes, I was never trained, but the managers know that. Whenever I screw up, they immediately say, "Well, it's not your fault, you were never trained, it's not like you actually KNOW how to do that correctly yet..."

Well...I've been McWorking for almost two years now... and to nitpick the description...

McDonald's serves CocaCola products, not Pepsi...
