I wouldnt speak too soon. Import tuner might have a video of a tahoe beatin a viper venom, or a 8 second drag car. Im waiting for the trucks suck comments to come.

well shit, i saw a video of a semi (without trailer) with a jet engine in the back running 1/4 in less than 9 sec...withn enough money you can make anything go fast, the point is - do you have to?

theres a few jetpowered semi's. there's Earthquake II and Shockwave, among others. Shockwave races jets at car shows. it puts out 36,000hp and accelerates at 3 G's vertical, faster than the space shuttle. just some useless info :P its amazing to watch one in person.

I don't think that's a lightning... Lightnings have euro lights, right?
And a good friend of mine has a 88 suburban that does the 1/8th in 7 seconds flat, which means his quarter (never run) would be about 12 seconds. Don't mess with tuned 454s, man.

The older lightnings, under 2000 I believe did not come with the euro tails. They also had less power. About 20 horse I believe.

I'd rock a Tahoe with a 454 or something bigger in it. I'd leave it looking relatively stock outside, too.
