Ten years of ownership this year. It's looking a bit worse for wear but is still as faithful as ever. Granted, it still only has just under 41k miles on it.

Grandma's no longer driving and gave the car to my dad; she bought a 2015 Prius C to be driven around in. This car may end up replacing his '99 Regal GS in the interest of fuel economy. :/

This was the longest ownership of any car she's ever had, all the others were replaced after 5 years or so.

#3, Probably why the Prius didn't start selling like gangbusters until the following generation... what's the point about owning a hybrid if you can't stand out and be smug about it?

#4, kinda the same way I feel about my van :/

People ask me all the time "is it the V?"

No, dumbshit, its not a Prius. Some Canadians this week asked if it was the new Kia Rondo. :(

Those are a local landmark called the "Elephant Rocks" and they are about 3-4 times as tall as what you see in the picture; the parking area ends at a small cliff.

#8, Wow, they look like hippos.

Me I really like the Prius V. Save on gas, can use it like a van to haul stuff. It doesn't look bad to me. I say let's have more of these on the road so we can keep the V8s. Yea, its under powered but its good for folks who don't care.

So I don't Prius-hate.

#10, It's lucky enough to have been garaged its entire life.
