Heh, Lexus is trying desperately to say that this is not simply a Prius rebody.. that it is actually based on the European Toyota Avensis... sounds all hoity-toity... until you realize that the Toyota Avensis platform is the same as the Scion tC platform.

And the Venza is now a crossover again. I'm sort of sad its dying, because its one of very few modern Toyotas I actually like.

I got the impression that it was essentially the replacement for the Camry wagon... I'm sick of this, "Let's build a wagon but do everything possible to avoid calling it a wagon or classifying it as a wagon" bullshit that's happened in the car industry.

#26, Yup. Me too. I was looking at a build tag the other day for a Jeep Cherokee at a dealer, and its listed as a MPV. Ditto the Patriot and Compass.
