Its just a modular turbo where the turbo's are in the back. Typically, you don't need a muffler as the turbos act as mufflers. You get 1-2 PSI loss when it goes to the engine but the air becomes cooler.
My guess is the person wanted a modular turbo setup but the racing laws mandate mufflers no matter what. This is the solution. |

Okay....so how exactly do the turbos fit under the car? Do they cut out part of the floor pan? |

i've heard of remote turbo setups at the rear of the car, but there is not way this particular set up would work at all, flow would completely bypass the spool, equal pressure in on both ends of the exhaust pressure spool side. |

#3, I saw other pics, and yes. He cut out the floor at the back and those things are inside the car. I wonder if whoever did this knew that turbos can get white hot (not red hot, WHITE hot and fucking glowing). |
