Just over 900 Willys pickups were built for the 1942 model year. This is the only known factory stock one left.

#2, Well, there's always a possiblity that there are others undiscovered in barns or what-not. Pickups, especially back then, were generally sold to rural buyers, and rural buyers were less likely to junk older cars than just squirrel them away in a barn or garage.....or sadly, too often, their yards or the middle of the woods.
