What is it now... Everything has been changed ! Or is it a ricer, and still have the stock engine under the hood ?!

Why the hell did they bump up the hood? The car looks like an LS430 now...but why? Do they have a V8 in there or something? Maybe a 4-banger with a supercharger twice the size of the engine?

its a turbocharged 2.2L prelude vtec mounted sideways to allow for the fatty tires. I'd say everything Honda is probably long gone, except for the engraved cylinder head. :P it runs 8's in the quarter though, thats always fun no matter what kind of car it is.

it's a full tube framed car with cf body. 2.2 prelude, turboed and mounted longitudinally to fit the wide tires, driven by Stephan Papadikas (sp) and best run so far is 8.12

(edit) the engine DID originally start out in a prelude, btw.

You know, for 100k on anything that wasn't a Honda, they could probably be running faster.

Hey CRXtrackguy? "longitudinally to fit the wide tires" - wtf are u talking about? did u mean it was converted to rear wheel drive? Why would u wanna outfit your tires with a longgtudanally placed engine?

My dad's LHS and his old '91 Monaco were like that. And they were both FWD.

it's front drive but the engine is mounted like a RWD motor, longitudinally because the front tires are real wide and there's no room otherwise...

Like I said, my dad's LHS and '91 Monaco had longitudinally mounted engines, I don't know how that was accomplished, but they are both FWD. So, it's not that odd.
