Don't drive over the fire extinguisher.

I wonder how easy it is to customize a ERTL/AW Monaco. :)

Cooler than a Bluesmobile replica.

#4, Right you are. http://www.diecast-pub.com/data/fac.../181/AMM949.jpg Looks pretty cool. Shame it'll be $60+ in most places.

The 70's saw a lot of odd liveries on cop cars.

Philly's were hunter green/white around that time, which replaced the RED they had been in the 60's.....

Prior to the late '80s, police cars in Toronto were bright yellow. They looked like taxis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Y...toPoliceCar.jpg

I think these Monacos are my favorite models.

#10, No love for the unreliable, horribly-marketed, shovelware '90s Monacos?

(I'm only half-joking though, since personal bias has given them a huge place in my heart... I mean, hell, some of the nicest-riding cars of its era.)

#11, nah I meant models as in model cars. The previous owner of my work had two of the 1990s ones. a maroon Monaco with gunmetal lace wheels and maroon interior, and a triple white Premiere ES.

#12, My dad's Monaco was white with those gunmetal lace wheels and the maroon interior... plus a luggage rack on the back decklid, which I thought was cool since the back part of the rack looked like a spoiler.
