1937 Delahaye 135 MS Figoni & Falaschi Cabriolet -- Best of Show at Pebble Beach, 2000

(I knew I'd seen the car and remembered it was French and recognized the location of the shot... Thank goodness for Google <g>)

Post another one -- I promise I won't cheat next time... :)
And I *love* cars from that era, so I appreciate you posting it.

I didn't find anymore like that. Have you ever heard of a Sunbeam Tiger? Got one of those at 8451. And a couple of hot Pontiacs at 8454 and 8452. I wish I would come across more of the older ones like this. I'll have to go lookin' sometime and post a few.

Yeah -- they were real pocket rockets and could blow the doors of stock Mustangs and Camaros because they were so light. And that was the car that Maxwell Smart drove in the sitcom "Get Smart."

That they are, though a big part of the credit here goes to Figoni & Falaschi's trademark streamlined coachwork.
