I would take the MCSS and chuck the 305, and drop in a 350 or perhaps a bigger engine.

#2, I've always said that swapping a 305 for a 350 just isn't worth it, unless the 305 is shot, and I stand by that. Now something bigger, like a 383 stroker, might be worthwhile.
