Description:
TA-DA!!!. presenting the 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier!!!.
. okay. i personally think it sucks. the 2002 Z24 had much more "balls" than
this. but on the plus side. a 2.2L comes as standard. which isn't too shabby. |

I never liked Sunfires before she got hers, and I still think the pre-2000 looks goofy (except the GT's). But I was surprised how nice it is, how great it runs, and no mechanical problems in 60,000 miles so far. They added nice ground effects and a grill by the hoods in 2000, along with the cool backup lights in the bumper like on Grand Am's. It's seems to have better quality than the Cavalier...her Cavy had such a cheap interior compared to the Sunfire. Oh, and she's spoiled so she got the Sun & Sound package with the awesome Monsoon stereo system. :)

#2, I know this is late but i haven't heard or read anything of the like.
all i know about the range of ecotec's is that GM dropped the 2.4L's for the 2003 year and now use 2.2L on a lot of applications - here and overseas. Why would GM want to suffer finacally when their ecotecs that they already have working in 5 "domestic" cars and in countless Opels and Vauxhalls for an engine they know nothing about.
It would cost much more to buy the engines and fit them into their cars than to use the existing engine they already make.
Tell the fuckers off. |

I though the last 11yr the 2.2L OHV I-4 came stock, the 3.1L V-6 was optional. then they winped the Cavi and Sunbirds out by having the 2.3 Quad4 as a the Optional HO plant.. sad |

I like the '95-'02s more, although there are some colors this front end looks good in. |

#29, I actually liked the front end of these over the triangle "pizza wedge" headlights on the previous gen, but I hated the "tramp stamp" rear taillight and badge tiara, thought if they'd put this front on the original gen's rear, it would've looked alright... but yeah, Pontiac did it better. |
